What is The Amazon Celt and how to find us.

The Amazon Celt Clan is a role play realm in Second Life. The theme is based in the lore that there was a faction of the Celt Army consisting of Women Warriors. Fighting off the Romans from the homelands of the Celt world.

This realm is set in the Iron age, Northern Europa circa 150 BC. The Amazon Celt Clan being a horse Clan, worships the great Horse Goddess "Epona". Known to symbolize the joint relationship between the Celts and the land through the symbology of fertility. As the great White Mare she is also depicted to be the guide leading the Celts into the other world beyond the living. The great white horse of Uffington Hill is one of many inspirations that has forged our realm in conception and is present on our Amazon Celt SIM in Second Life.

Many stories throughout the ages speak of great Women Warriors and female warrior cultures. Perhaps desendents from the Goddess/Neolithic Age predating all patriarchal systems. As well as the ancient Celts being a nature loving culture filled with Goddess and Nature imagery and lore. We have strived to recreate such a world to live in "virtually" amongst the many realms in Second life.

You will find the Amazon Celts to be a unique gem within all the role play worlds on the internet. Combining the powers of Pagan/Goddess, Celt history, Woman's Power, Warriorship and legends of the Amazons throught the ancient world.
