The curious case of Winny of Gallecia

Monday Night

Last Monday an old woman by the name of Winny of Gallecia (Naji Fang) arrived at the back gate asking for food and shelter from the clan. I offered it to her as is decent and we gathered to talk to her. Winny claimed to be a druid from the Holy Island of Cymru in the Northern Islands. Winny said she was traveling the world in search of herbs of great virtue and power and she was looking for a certain magic bean sad to be found growing in our land.

Sister Athena was showing the effect of the wolf bite she had received the night before. Winny offered to treat Athena with a special poultice Winny had made. Athena agreed and was treated. Winny retired to the guest hut for the night. Later Athena collapsed into a fever and we found Athena has wounds to her back that had been untreated.

Tuesday night

A large boar was sighted and a hunt ensured. Alyosah shot the boar to threw its heart with a good, long shot, killing it dead. Before we could get to the boar we noticed Winny performing some odd ritual on the boar's wound. Still the boar needed gutting, and turned out this was Alyosah's first kill. I showed him how and was shocked to see both Alyosha and Taalitha quite horrified by the process.Winny offered some herbs of her's to treat the meat and reduce the stench. Alyosha poured some on the boar, which, though fully gutted promptly stood up, screamed and ran off before we could react!

The running gutted boar left us all shaken. With that Winny wished us a good night and returned to her herb gathering.
