Mermorial for the Eye of Amun

And so the play continue....further developments have come into place...we shall place them all here... so this quest remains in our memories, Vyctoria

Last night we held our memorial for the slain Eye of Amun. Our Priestess Vyctoria called us to the stonehedge with the sun set and then said prayers for the dead as our tradition called for.



As we stood beseeching the gods to guide the Eye of Amun. to her rightful place in the land of the dead we were shocked to see the earth open up and the Eye herself walking into the middle of our circle.


Her skin was pale as the bellies of fish, her eyes clouded over and unseeing. She was clad in black funeral robes. The air grew cold and I, Benjoias daughter of Janias am not ashamed to admit my hands shook with fear at the site of dead walking among the living.

Priestess Vyctoria demanded to know why the Eye had left her rest and come to us from the Land of the Dead. The Eye replied she had been send by the gods to give us a warning. That we needed to act before many more died like she has had




With that that Eye of Amun left us and returned to the Land of the Dead.

We puzzled over the warning. We knew the "daughters of the huntress" were us. The dark one reminded me of the story of the Light Eater I was told by the Fire Priestess in my time in Syria. They told me the Light Eater is the false creator, who robs others of their works and the king off all spiders, scorpions and other creators of the dark. That the fire priests kept their fires burning to keep the Light Eater at bay.


We then turned to the rest of the warning. Priestesses Vyctoria decided to retire to the shrine and pray to the goddess herself. As she did that she received a vision of warriors armed in silver celebrating the crowing of a new king, only to be attacked by dragons.

With that recalled the news from the traveling merchants that the Celestial Paladins were having a coronation in a matter of days. We have resolved to go warn them of the danger they are facing.
